  • Refugee Action offers advice and welcome to newly arrived asylum seekers, helps them to make their initial claim and provides early accommodation prior to dispersal. They also offer case work to asylum seekers at different stages of the process which can be accessed via appointment at their One Stop Shopopen on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Please ring the appointment line (0151 702 6310)   between 9.30am-12.30pm to book. Please be aware that the line can be very busy and you may need to make several attempts.
  • On Wednesdays clients can make an appointment to use office telephones and computers enabling them to make their own inquiries regarding their case. If an appointment is not booked, clients can come into the office on Pleasant Street, on the off chance, but may be turned away if all facilities are in use.
